GROUND-BREAKING AIR SEALING TECHNOLOGY
AeroSeal Envelope is a cutting-edge automated envelope air sealing system. It simultaneously measures and seals building envelope air leaks. Using a high-powered fan, a 40-mph wind is blown into the building. As the wind blows out of the cracks, the interior is fogged with sealant, which plugs the holes as it is forced into them.
Because AeroSeal Envelope is applied during the construction process, you can solve many of the problems and issues that can arise in one simple installation.
No more guesswork. No more mess. Never fail a blower door test.
Step 1
BLOW 65km/hr WIND
We blow strong winds into the building with a specialized fan. The build-up of air pressure forces the wind to leak out of holes, cracks and gaps throughout the structure. A measurement of air leakage is recorded.
Step 2
FOG THE INTERIOR
By using nozzles strategically placed throughout the building. The air pressure then carries the fog of sealant to the holes, cracks and gaps of the structure.
Step 3
PLUG THE AIR LEAKS
The air leak gets plug as the fog of sealant is pushed out the building. The difference in temperature and humidity forces the airborne sealant to then coagulate and reform as a solid sealant plugging the holes, cracks and gaps of the structure.
Step 4
SEAL THE ENTIRE BUILDING
The building get sealed all at once with our patented computerized process. No more guesswork, no more mess, no more failed blower door tests.
5 TIPS FOR HOMEBUILDERS:
When building a new home, there are so many elements to think about, and choices to make. While not an obvious design choice, air quality will have an effect throughout the entire lifetime of your home.
It can be hard to know what to ask your builder when it comes to such an invisible feature of your home.
